Helge Kvam is a journalist and assistance professor at the Danish School of Media and Journalism employed since February 2017.

Helge Kvam graduated from the Danish School of Journalism in 1992. His work-experience includes regional newspapers, self-employment and 11 years employment by the Red Cross in Denmark, Geneva, Afghanistan, Ethiopia and Israel/Palestine. For six years he served as the Head of Media Service at the Danish Red Cross.

Since August 2020 he taught dialogue-based journalism and was the anchor in implementing a module at the diploma program for specialized journalism.

As one of two authors in 2020 he published the textbook in basic journalism “Grib journalistikken” that includes a chapter on constructive journalism.
